This time I will sum up the books that I've read in May 2017 instead of I'm doing the book review one by one.

The reason I'm doing this because in May I only managed to read 3 books. Not good for my reading performance ( performance? - sound like you are in Marathon pulak Nadia =p  ).

Here the list of books I've read:

This is a chilling true story of a woman trapped in a devastating relationship as she tries to prove her love - over and over again.

Within days spending their first evening together, Alice and Joe were talking about getting married and spending the rest of their lives with each other. Everything about Joe seemed perfect and Alice was the happiest she'd ever been.

Then one day Joe saw a message on her phone from an old love and that changed everything. He ignored Alice's explanations and desperate pleas. And soon the violence and abuse began.

As she attempted to prove to Joe that he really was her world. Alice gave up everything that mattered to her, including her family, her friends and her job. But, still, it wasn't enough.

When the challenges started, Alice finally dared to hope that this time, maybe this time, Joe might just believe she loved him....

I've bought this book because I do like to read a real life story. But, I did not know that this book is so sick. Honestly, for me Alice is stupid and Joe is crazy.

How can a person be so crazy because of a message from an old love. Crazy here is because Joe tortured Alice not only physically but mentally as well. He bit Alice body part, beaten her, yell at her in public and the worst part is he even asked Alice to walk naked in public. I just don't know what else Joe want Alice to do just to believe her that she only love him. Let bypass be bypass. But, no!!! Every day and every night, Joe will ask Alice the same repeated question about that message and even told her to write that she is a slut because of that message.

Yes, even though Alice is making a mistake by having an affair with a married man but the story is in the past. Alice even ended that relationship before she with Joe. Seriously, I just don't know what's in Joe mind that makes him be like a crazy man.

Alice did everything, just to make him know how she really loves him but nothing satisfied Joe. He even restricts her to contact her own family, best friends and office mate. Joe even asked Alice to resign and stay at home.

Alice lost everything she has just to prove her love but nothing work out.

In the end, Alice doesn't get even his love but he left her. Break up with her. See, how pathetic Alice life is. But, for me, she could find a way to escape from him when she gets a chance but she was blinded by love.

For me, I just don't like the book because of all the craziness due to just a small message. People do mistakes and mistakes could be forgiven. Jealousy ruined everything. In love should have trust. If we trust our loved one, communicate with each other, be tolerated in every aspect there will be no problem.

If you wanted to know how love and jealousy can ruined someone you can read this book. But, if you hate the cruel acts, craziness and stupidity I would not recommend this book.

Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a strange package with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside, he discovers several casette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker - his classmate and crush - who committed suicide two weeks earlier. Hannah voice's tells him that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out why.

Clay spends the night crisscrossing his town with Hannah as his guide. He becomes a firsthand witness to Hannah's pain and as he follows Hannah's recorded words throughout his town, what he discovers changes his life forever.

This was my first e-Book. Thanks to Fatina and Siqah for introduced me how can I download lots of free e-books. =)

Oh, I like this book even though I don't agree with all the reasons that make Hannah suicide. The storyline and the writing so interesting.

Seriously, I love Clay Jensen in this book. He is charming and kind. But, he just too late to express his feelings to Hannah that he like her.

The story started when Clay received a box that consists of audio tapes. Each tape tell story that related to Hannah suicide but.... all the story was told by Hannah herself. She tell who are peoples that lead to her suicide and what exactly happened.

For me, this book is interesting. Once you started read it you won't stop because you keep on asking,  " What exactly happen to you Hannah? " " Why you make a decision to suicide ? " . You will keep wondering until the end.

I totally recommend you to read this book if you like a mystery genre storyline.

Oh, if  you ever noticed that there are a drama series of this book air on Netflix. I'm not watched the drama but one of my Instagram friend told me that the drama is sad.

Words From A Wanderer is a timeless and beautiful compilation of notes and poetry. This book was created with hopes of uplifting and encouraging readers in many ways. There is a journal in the back of the book readers and fellow writers to indulge in to keep the "conversation" going. Author , Alexandra Elle, wrote this book to shed light on the fact that indeed not all who wander are lost; some are simply still finding their way.

This was my second e-book. I read this book after I saw Siqah's Instagram story. This is a good book. A motivating book that taught us to believe in yourself and loves ourself.

The best part in this book are the " #anote2self  ". Then , every notes will start with " Dear Self  or Resilient Self or Courageous Self , etc " and end with " With Love, Self " .

All that salutation , it is good to remind ourself . There are some of my favourite notes that I highlight as my reminder:

Dear self, Seasons change. People grow together and apart. Life moves on. You will be OK. Embrace it. Hugs , Self .

Dear Self, Get rid of old habits and leave them where they belong. What is meant for you will be yours. learn to let go. Dysfunction isn't love. Sincerely, Self .

Dear Self, Continue to walk in your purpose. Allow God to guide your footsteps and positivity will lead your thoughts. Love, Self .

Dear Self, It is important that we start to respect one another because when we do, love will follow. Love, Self .

There's more poems or note to self I wanted to shared here. But I can't because it will make my entry to long. Hihihi.

So, if you need a motivation towards yourself in a simple poems word. I do recommend this book for you to read.

I totally like this book.
