TOP 5 HOTELS IN KUALA LUMPUR FOR A LUXURIOUS EXPERIENCE

Where do you find cheap Kuala Lumpur hotels that serve the best luxurious services? It’s a pretty big question, right? Well, believe it or not, it’s not so much of a “hidden gem” situation because Kuala Lumpur has some of the best first-class hotels at greatly affordable prices. If you’re booking with Traveloka, for example, you’ll get even great prices. They have various hotel promotions going on, especially during the Chinese New Year season.

By the way, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to my fellow friends celebrating!

In honour of one big event here in Malaysia, I’ll be providing THE BEST TOP 5 HOTELS you can stay during the holidays!

SHANGRI LA HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR

Welcome to Shangri La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, where everything looks amazingly top notched from inside out. In general, Shangri La Hotel as a whole establishment itself has garnered great reviews from its visitors, so it’s a no brainer you will be lavish with first class services throughout your stay. The price range starts from MYR 500+ per night depending on the type of room you opt for.

Location: Jalan Sultan Ismail, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
Highlights: Literally, neighbours with KL Tower (iconic monument!) and KL Forest Eco Park (thumbs up for nature-lovers); Health Club and Spa. Five different restaurants and three different bars to let your inner gastronomical soul run rampant.

PULLMAN PUTRAJAYA LAKESIDE

“Impressive” is the right word for this five-star hotel. If you’re thinking about staying around Putrajaya - which I might add is a family-friendly place to hang around for the holidays, you can consider staying in Pullman. First of all, the pool is majestic, I mean, it is a rooftop pool and you and me both know any pool that is on the top of the roof is the best location. The rate starts at, wait for it, from MYR 200+ (of course, depending on the type of rooms)!

Location: Presint 5, Putrajaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
Highlights: Main attractions including Marina Putrajaya and China-Malaysia Friendship Garden (perfect place for photography, right?); top of the line fitness centre for any gym junkies on a trip, plus perfect interactive clubs for children (not the rave kind of club, the play time kind of club).

THE WESTIN KUALA LUMPUR

Another five-star hotel ( The Westin KL ) that gives you the chilling vibe, if you know what I mean? This is due to the garden-esque environment they have set around the pool area. I have to say; it feels like you are walking down a peaceful garden. The rooms are well-equipped for family travellers because they range from one-bedroom suites to two-bedroom residence unit. Holiday is about celebrating with family, so, why not spend it together here with yours? The rate starts from MYR 400+ per night differ for each room, that is.

Location:  Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
Highlights: Pavilion, duh! It’s one of the best shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur.

GRAND HYATT KUALA LUMPUR

They did not play around with the word “Grand” when it comes to the rooms in Grand Hyatt. Each room is crazy spacious, and we all know spacious equals cosy. Not only that, but the unique bathtub you get will be accompanied with the perfect view of KLCC. The higher the floor you get, the better the view you’ll be able to enjoy. The price to stay for the night starts from MYR 600+.

Location: Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Highlights: Perfect view of the liveliest area in Kuala Lumpur. You are literally surrounded by hot spots (social and family-friendly) for tourist that travel to Kuala Lumpur for the holidays.

THE MAJESTIC HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR

One thing that draws me to this hotel is the gigantic chandelier hanging at the centre of the lobby. It looks - majestic. Wow, I just made the connection! Impressive stuff. Anyways, The Majestic Hotel looks pretty colonial from the outside with its pure white paint and structure, but when you walk inside, it’s one of those “don’t judge a book by its cover” moment where you’ll be awed by the interior art and design. The rate per night usually starts at around MYR 300+.

Location: Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur.
Highlights: The secluded element brings out the peace essence you would want during a holiday in the city. It is a national heritage site, which is in itself priceless from my point of view.

We have come to the end of the article. I hope it was quite a read for you and helpful in a way that will inspire you to choose your best accommodation for the holidays!

Where will you be going for a holiday? What’s your plan? Share with me your stories!
Until next time, have fun, everybody!
